Harriet McCoy, N.P.

Harriet McCoy, NP, ABAAHP
Nurse Practitioner, Exercise Physiologist, Fellow,
and Diplomate in the Clinical Science of Anti-Aging, American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners.

Harriet McCoy has dedicated the majority of her healthcare career to the practice of wellness and longevity.  She began her work in regenerative medicine in 1982 while working for the Pritikin Longevity Center, the first nationally recognized longevity center in the U.S.  She was able to experience first-hand the effects of Mr. Pritikin’s regenerative approach to medicine, when, while following his program, she transitioned from a mediocre cyclist to a national-class competitor, making the U.S. national team in 1984, competing as a finalist in the 1984 Olympic Trials, and completing the Women’s Tour de France as a member of the U.S. team in 1985.

Throughout the years, Harriet McCoy has worked in multiple areas of medicine, including family practice, orthopaedics, neurology, bioidentical hormone replacement, stem cell therapy, and peptide therapy, all with a primary focus on longevity.  She has completed a fellowship in Regenerative and Nutritional Medicine through the Metabolic Medical Institute, and is a diplomate in the clinical science of anti-aging. She has advanced training and experience in nutrition, weight loss, exercise physiology, bioidentical hormone replacement, peptides, and stem cell therapy.  She continues to pursue her passion for improving quality of life, while maximizing longevity and optimizing wellness and function, by offering individualized treatments based on biochemical makeup and response to treatment.

Now over 30 years after her initial work at the Pritikin Longevity Center, Harriet McCoy is still striving to create physiologic balance and harmony based on each person’s own biochemistry, searching out the root causes of their symptoms.  She continues to pursue these goals through optimizing nutrition, exercise, hormone balancing, peptides, and stem cell therapy.
